Places We’ve Been
As we’re getting off the ground, I’m working fast and furiously to add content about the places we’ve been. We’ve got a solid 10 years of family travel under our belt, and we’ve been to a lot of places throughout the United States, thanks to some epic road trips. Here’s a taste of the places we’ve been and will be detailing in upcoming posts:
2016 Epic Road Trip

This is the absolute most fun road trip we’ve ever taken. It was a long 10 days, but we saw everything from bears in Shenandoah National Park to Broadway shows in New York City , to a private tour of The Great Library in Toronto, to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland
- Tennessee
- Shenandoah National Park
- NYC
- Vermont
- Montreal
- Toronto
- Niagara Falls
- Cleveland & Geneva Lake
2014 Epic Road Trip

This trip wasn’t quite as much fun as 2016. Becca had stitches in her foot, so we had to cut out all of the beach and water activities that we had planned for the Keys, and we added time at Disney–which is great for a wheelchair bound kid. It was still a fun trip–just not quite what we planned.
- Dauphin Island
- Disney
- Key West
- Universal Studios
- Savannah
Cruising

Kenny and I have been on two cruises. Cruising is one of those things that people either love or hate. We love it! We had the same itinerary on both trips (the second one was only booked spur-of-the moment because we got a great deal on a last minute cruise, and it seemed like a darn good way to ease the pain of my 40th birthday). On our cruises we visited:
- Belize
- Cozumel
- Roatan
Other International Trips

This was our first trip abroad and was supposed to be an awesome family trip. Unfortunately, health issues turned it into a girls trip when Christine and Kenny had to stay behind. The City of Lights absolutely lived up to expectations, though.
- Paris
Other U.S. Cities

We’ve also visited several other cities on vacations, school trips, and work trips. We love getting to know new cities! New Orleans is one of our absolute favorites, and we seem to be making an annual pilgrimage to NYC now that the girls are older.
- Memphis
- New Orleans
- Las Vegas
- St Louis
- New York City
- Washington D.C.
- San Francisco
- Chicago
Other Texas Cities

Since we’re based in Dallas, we’ve taken plenty of road trips across Texas. There’s not a whole lot left that we haven’t seen!
- Dallas (Of course! We live here!)
- Fort Worth
- Amarillo
- Houston
- Austin
- San Antonio
- La Grange/Brenham
- Lubbock
If you have any questions about any of these places, please feel free to leave a comment. And if you would like me to add a place to the top of my to-post list, just let me know!
